Not much has been going on at our house except that we recovered from croup and now we're all sick again! I took Bryker to the doctor after another two days of fever but this time it's just the common cold. I took our car in to be serviced today and a lady in the waiting room told me she works at a pediatrician's office and they have seen more sick kids this last month than in all the years she's worked there. She said a respiratory virus is going around Chicago right now and it's been crazy. Lucky for us! It really wouldn't be so bad if Bryker wouldn't cough so hard he makes himself puke. Cleaning up puke when he doesn't even have the stomach flu is not fair! So to get through these long days, Bryker has officially been introduced to all the classic Disney movies. Tarzan, Aladdin and Jungle Book 2 currently top his list. He has also become a master sword fighter (notice how he sticks it in his pocket - a good tip from his dad). He runs around the house saying he's Shrek and he has to save Princess Fiona. Guess who gets to be Fiona? Not Gary.

The best news of the week? There are rumors that it is actually going to hit 50 degrees on Saturday. We are planning some serious outdoor time.
Now for some baby updates. The "big" ultrasound is scheduled for Valentine's Day. Yes, we are finding out what the gender is. I could never wait nine months for that, especially when I keep getting Gymboree coupons in the mail. If it's a girl, I wouldn't want to pass up any sweet deals. Unfortunately I had to break out the maternity pants today. I would be lying if I said that wasn't depressing. But now I'm starting to feel the baby move all around so that is always fun (at least at first!). Speaking of babies, we had a shower here at my house and check out this cute banner we made (well, Kristal did all the work of actually making it!)...isn't it a cute theme?
Now a question for all you pro-bloggers. Is there an easy way to print your blog posts? I've heard of copying and pasting them into Word and then printing, but is there a less time-consuming way?
