Cereal
Bryker hates cereal. He always has. This has caused major problems in our mornings since I eat a bowl of Cheerios every day. Seriously, it's like the morning coffee to some people. I can't function without my Cheerios. So anyway, he used to throw huge tantrums and tell me to put my cereal away. Even after the bowl was in the sink, if I sat next to him, he asked me (well, more like demanded me) to go brush my teeth. He can't stand the smell of it. So now that Makenna is eating oatmeal cereal in the mornings, you can imagine what torture it is to him. Luckily, he came up with a new strategy...
he takes his breakfast and relocates to a spot where he can't see OR smell the grossness.

Winter Fun (do those two words really go together?)
I think it's funny that as I look back through my pictures, I have a picture of Bryker in the tub every January for the last three years. Apparently taking baths gets pretty exciting when there is nothing else to do! This was actually supposed to be Makenna's tub but whenever Bryker hears the water going, he's naked within two seconds. (Jenni, do you like Makenna's bath seat? I had to copy my sister and get one because poor little sister isn't safe in the tub with her brother.)

Then we have THE HAIRCUT. Yes, people, this is quite the ordeal at our house. And yes, he is 3 and 1/2. (He doesn't usually wear a garbage bag but this time he kept complaining about the hair falling down his back so Gary finally got out the bag.)

While baths are hair cuts are so much fun, we did manage to do a few other things in January. For one, we went bowling...
