3rd of July

Since Chicago has its big fireworks celebration on July 3rd, we decided to get together with some friends for a little picnic. The only problem was that it was FREEZING! I think it was like 75 that day and once the sun went down...brrrrr. Definitely my first memories of July picnics and sweatshirts!

The actual 4th of July was a GREAT day for us because some of our best friends from Buffalo made the long drive to come and see us! We had such a fun time playing with them. I decided that the worst part of living the student life is that you make such great friends and then you have to move away. Oh well, I guess that means we can just look forward to many visits!
