Tulips

So I know this isn't terribly exciting, but it's the first time I've ever planted bulbs. It's a total amateur job, but hey, my mom and her "green thumb" are many miles away! Here's the only thing - it was 80 degrees here on Friday but tomorrow it's supposed to be 43 with a possible overnight frost-freeze. Please don't die on me, tulips! I was already disappointed to learn that they only last a month! WHAT? All that work for one month? Well, they are a major improvement to this beautiful rental house! (Hopefully they off-set the turquoise awnings a little bit!)

the good news though, is that they will come back next year without you having to do anything! (& they usually multiply I think)

yeah - it is totally cold & yucky here today too. I might just freak out.

I think they look great and I'm jealous! We STILL don't even have leaves yet!! Claire was so upset today when "Marker" left in the other direction.

They look so good! I can't plant anything and expect it to live through a season! I am all about bushes and trees :) They are much easier for me! ha! Your house and family is so cute! It will be good to keep up with you! Bryker is such a cutie! I love the typical family picture too! That's about what mine look like too except at least Gary smiles, I'm lucky to get Tone to smile for any pic!

Our daffodils only lasted two weeks. Now they're all shriveled up and sad looking.
