April Visitors

A couple of weeks ago about 15 to 20 girls in Gary's extended family came to Chicago for a girls' shopping trip to celebrate his aunt's 50th birthday. Bryker and I met up with them every day and partied around the city. However, I didn't even take my camera with me once! I guess once I packed the bag to entertain an 18-month-old in a big city for a day, there just wasn't room for the camera! We had a lot of fun though. It mostly consisted of shopping and eating, but we did go see "Wicked" as well. Yes, I just saw it in March with Melissa and Debbie, but I couldn't resist going again. It is by far my favorite musical ever. (I guess I'm not much of a sucker for the classics!) Another highlight (for Bryker, of course!) was riding in a Hummer LIMO! We were leaving the hotel for dinner reservations and would have had to split up into five cabs, so the hotel lobby guys made us a deal and we all jumped into the Hummer. Totally wish I had my camera then! Oh well, maybe I can get some pictures from Gary's aunts and cousins. While Bryker didn't really enjoy the shopping too much, he did spend some time trying on accessories at H&M. So Grandma just had to buy him the GQ hat and sunglasses below! I guess this is about as much fun you can have dressing up boys!
