Update on the bunnies

So we called Animal Control to come and get out little pets, but they decided it was better to leave them be. Um, excuse me? Well, apparently the mother rabbit comes twice a day and nurses the little things and they grow quickly and will just hop away in another week or two. Right...so in the meantime, I just have to keep my toddler from not stepping on the hole? It actually hasn't been that bad. I just tell Bryker that the bunnies are sleeping and not to touch them! Which is actually true, I think. Since they are all still in that hole, I guess all they do the first couple of weeks is eat and sleep. I think it's kind of weird that they don't get up and hop around or anything. So suddenly when they're three weeks old they just hop away into the real world without even leaving the hole up until then? This is what concerns me. How are they just going to hop away? And what if they hop into our garage or something? Hmmm...I'm still not so sure about this. But they are definitely growing. Check out the pictures. Gary thought he counted six in there today. Before we thought there were just four. OH NO. Shana, does that mean they are multiplying already? I think we're in trouble here.

This is kinda funny Missy!
Last year there was a young bunny (just one)that hung out in our backyard for a few weeks. The girls were sad when he stopped coming around. I think my girls scared him away with all their love & attention. (I never let them touch him.) I can bring them over to scare yours away too if you like... they would love it. =) Only problem is, Annaliese asked for a pet bunny the other day.

Oh, this whole thing is SO FUNNY! Come on Missy, I would just take them all INSIDE and let Bryker take care of all of them. He would do a great job. So funny!

(I posted on your last one too...) don't worry. they will not stick around with a toddler in the yard! he will scare them off for sure, if they even think about sticking around!

So funny. Nothing like finding out that a family of bunny's are taking over that back yard. I hope they hop away soon too, for your sake. I got a good laugh at the grass too! What an awesome neighbor! So funny!
