OH YEAH. Happy birthday, Jenni! My little sister is the big 25 today! That makes me feel old! Do you want any bunnies for your birthday?

UNBELIEVABLE
Okay, so as a follow-up to my last post...our new landlord came over today and mowed our lawn himself since the "crew" he hired never showed up. His lawn mower didn't have a bag on it so Gary went out to rake up the grass. As he was raking in the backyard, he noticed something moving in the grass. At first he thought it was mice, but as he took a closer look, he discovered there were four baby bunnies nestled in our yard. Apparently since the grass and weeds were so long, a lovely pregnant rabbit decided to give birth right in our backyard. YIKES. They must be only a couple days old. You might think, oh how cute (Linsey!), but not me! My only thought is how in the world do we get rid of these things without hurting them or making the poor mommy rabbit mad? YIKES. The craziest part is that our landlord just mowed RIGHT OVER the bunnies. Luckily they were lower in the ground so they weren't hurt. They must be scared silly. And where is the mama?

Good luck with your furry friends...I can donate a bag of carrots? :) LOVES
That is crazy...maybe you should keep one as a pet!
I can't believe he mowed right over them! Bryker will love to have them for pets. Ha ha!
That's cute and at the same time pretty gross. I'm not a big animal lover and from the sound of things, you're not either. It's not like I want to hurt them, I would just rather not interact with them.
Watch out, those suckers multiply like crazy, those little guys can mate before they even leave the nest and then you will have a whole yard full of them.
Okay, that picture is seriously disturbing. I am in the "not so cute" club.
cute! don't worry!!!! their mama is nearby taking care of them & they will get bigger & she will leave them & they'll hop away on their own in a few days or so... we had the same thing happen under our porch back in CO.
that is crazy the grass was so long. now I will wonder how many baby bunnies are under each overgrown yard I see for the rest of my life.
